Vicci Riley is a performance maker, dancer and movement/health facilitator. She collaborates with artists across disciplines and works in diverse contexts with people of all ages and abilities. Vicci trained at the Laban Centre for Movement and Dance in the 1990’s and further studied body-mind practices with seasoned artists. The members of Liverpool Improvisation Collective were instrumental in welcoming her into the world of Contact Improvisation and experimental performance work.
Since completing her MA (Dance Theatre) Vicci has moved to Liverpool and is committed to devising, performing and leading dance practice that seeks to communicate through sensation, connectivity and playfulness. By paying attention to experiential inquiry she believes the body is a site for transformation through which we can grow, cultivate and find opportunities for change.
